ESPN today announced that The Contender is returning back to ESPN for another season this coming September 4th (10:00 p.m. ET), ordering up a third season of the Mark Burnett-produced show.

Warner Bros. is interested in bringing Jonny Quest to movie screens, setting Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter as producers for the live-action adaption of the popular 1960s animated TV Series from Hanna-Barbera. Dan Mazeau will be writing the script.

Warner Bros. has announced that 300 has become both the fastest and highest selling High-Definition title (Blu-ray and HD DVD), selling through more than 250,000 units in just a week of release.

New details have been revealed on the game-to-film adaption of Warcraft.
During BlizzCon 2007, the annual fan event hosted by Blizzard Entertainment (creator of Warcraft), Blizzard CEO Chris Metzen and Legendary Pictures (who purchased the film rights last year) head Thomas Tull talked about the film project.

Paul Blackthorne (Harry Dresden of The Dresden Files) has signed on to ABC’s upcoming drama Big Shots. If the signing of The Dresden Files‘ title character to another series wasn’t proof enough that The Dresden Files would be a one season and done show, SCI FI has confirmed that the show will not be returning for a second season.
