“Gossip Girl” Premiere Pushed Up A Week August 6, 2007 3:51 pm

The CW has announced plans that they are pushing up the premiere of their new drama, Gossip Girls by one week to September 19th.
It was originally planned to debut the following week, which would have put it up against the premieres of NBC’s Bionic Woman and ABC’s Private Practice, two shows (especially the later) which could affect the show’s performance. The re-positioning means the show will launch out of the series premiere of hit America’s Next Top Model.
