CBS has announced that they’ve added four additional episodes of its ‘Price Is Right’ primetime series The Price Is Right Million Dollar Spectacular to the schedule this May. Originally aired on Friday’s, the show will now air on Wednesday night’s from 8:00-9:00. The network also announced the return of Shark. The series will return with a new day and time (Tuesday, April 29 at 9:00 p.m. ET). Four episodes will air, three in the time period with the season finale airing on May 20th from 10:00-11:00. After just two episodes, both lowly rated, Fox has moved the freshmen courthouse drama Canterbury’s Law from Monday night to Friday night, beginning March 28. In the mean time, Fox has scheduled House repeats to replace the vacated 8:00 p.m. Monday night time slot. The show has averaged 6.72 million viewers and a 1.7/5 rating/share among adults 18-49. 20th Century Fox has set a date for John Singleton’s film version of the 1980s TV series The A-Team. The film will be released on June 12, 2009. The A-Team will follow the exploits of Hannibal Smith and his team of former special forces soldiers, who have been set up for a crime they didn’t commit. Casting hasn’t been announced yet. [Variety]

The upcoming James Bond film Quantum of Solace will open in the U.K. a full week ahead of its U.S. bow. Sony has announced this morning that the film will reach U.K. audiences on October 31st. Its U.S. release remains the same at November 7th.
France and Belgium will get the film on November 5th, while the Netherlands and Germany will see the movie open on November 6th. [Variety]

Uwe Bolls latest film, the dark comedy Postal, will get a release date near Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Postal will hit theaters on May 23, 2008.

ABC has unveiled their midseason primetime schedule and the big announcement is the return of Lost (which will air Thursday night’s at 9:00 p.m.). The series premieres its fourth season on January 31.

Several months ago before Saw IV had even hit theaters it was reported that David Hackl was given the go ahead to begin production on both Saw V and Saw VI (related article here).
It’s now been confirmed that Saw V will be hitting theaters next October.

Fox today announced that they will be revising their Fall lineup, opting to move Bones to Tuesday’s at 8:00 p.m., with Kitchen Nightmares replacing it on Wednesday’s at 9:00 p.m. Thursday’s will see the game-show duo of Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? and Don’t Forget The Lyrics!.
Also, New Amsterdam is being held off on until the midseason.

In a press release just issued by Fox, the network has announced that surprise gameshow hit Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader will premiere this September 6th with a two-hour special, and will air for four weeks on two nights a week.

In hopes of giving the series a push in the A18-49 demographic, FX will be airing episodes of their new drama Damages on MyNetworkTV.
The first two episodes will air tonight on the channel. This is the first time that the broadcast network has aired a program from any other News Corp. network.
