I made a couple changes to the guide (mostly cosmetic).

There have been several requests of late for a complete lineup of all the new Fall shows, and I’m pleased to announce that I’ve completed my excel spreadsheet.

The season 4 contestants for The Biggest Loser have been announced.  18 contestants will be competiting in the fourth season of the NBC show, which returns with a special two-hour episode on Tuesday, September 11 from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Comic-Con 2007: Kevin Smith to Direct/Write Episode of “Heroes” Origins” July 28, 2007 5:00 pm

During the panel for Heroes, it was announced that the limited run spin-off series Heroes: Origins will have an episode written and directed by Kevin Smith.

NBC today announced their Fall 2007 primetime schedule, with most all of their programming returning on the week September 24, and a few shows getting last second switches in the schedule.

NBC today announced that Joey Fatone, the former member of ‘N Sync and more recently seen on last spring on ABC’s Dancing With the Stars, has been chosen to host the networks upcoming singing competition series The Singing Bee.

TBS Lands Rerun Rights to “The Office” and “My Name Is Earl” June 21, 2007 11:41 pm

In an unexpected deal, NBC Universal has put together a $100+ million package for the rerun rights to NBC’s two hit comedies: The Office and My Name Is Earl. TBS will get the cable rights, while 10 Fox O&O (owned and operated) stations will get the network rights in a shared-window deal.

NBC today announced today that the fourth season premiere of The Biggest Loser will debut on Tuesday, September 11 (from 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET) preceded by the previous week’s one-hour special “Where Are They Now?” (Tuesday, September 4 from 8:00-9:00 p.m.).

NBC Universal announced today the renewals of two of their shows, with NBC renewing the original Law & Order for an 18th season, and Criminal Intent moving to sister network USA for its 7th season.

Three shows, two freshman dramas and one long-running one, will not be returning to the lineup next season.  Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, The Black Donnelly’s and Crossing Jordan have been canceled.

It’s been a busy day in terms of news relating to NBC’s 2007/2008 television series. This item pertains to Scrubs. Though the show has struggled this season with lower than average numbers, the network is expected to renew the comedy for its 7th season.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is coming back from its hiatus. According the official NBC website for the series, the freshman drama will return to the airwaves on Thursday, May 24 at 10:00 p.m.

Passions is being resurrected. The long-running soap was canceled by NBC earlier in the year, but today DirecTV announced that they will be picking up the show. The series will end its run on NBC on September 7, and then begin its ninth season on DirecTV on September 17. (more…)
