“Heroes” Mini Spin-off May 14, 2007 11:58 am

In a little bit of unexpected news, NBC has announced that they have been planning a spin-off to the hit series Heroes.

Heroes will have 30 installments in the 2007/2008 season but the catch is 24 will be regular episodes, and there will be six additional episodes to be aired during a mid-season break.

Heroes: Origins will revolve around introducing a new character each week.  To get fans involved in the decision making of the show, viewers will be able to go to NBC.com and vote for their favorite character to become part of the cast for the following season.
