PG-13 Rating Targeted for “Terminator 4” May 5, 2008 11:19 pm

Last summer some noise was made of action movies dropping from an R-rating to PG-13, or in some cases from PG-13 down to PG (Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver). The biggest example was Live Free or Die Hard, which 20th Century Fox decided to rate at PG-13 in hopes of attracting a more teenage friendly crowd. The result was a gross of more than $380 million. Though it’s nearly impossible to say the reason for the higher gross resulted from the rating, it was the most in the franchise. Now word comes that Halcyon Company are targeting a PG-13 rating for next summer’s Terminator 4.
