Jonah Hill is in early negotiations to costar opposite Shia LaBeouf in Transformers 2, according to EW while the Courier Mail is reporting that Australian actress Teresa Palmer has been cast in the film as well.

Kim Richards and Ike Eisenmann are returning to “Witch Mountain”.  The original kid stars of the 70’s movies have been cast in Race to Witch Mountain, Disney’s re-imagining of the adventure series. [THR]

Hector Elizondo (Cane) has been tapped by USA to join Monk as Tony Shalhoub’s new shrink, after the unfortunate death of Stakley Kamel, who played Dr. Kroger on the series.  Elizondo will show up on the 7th season premiere of the series. [TV Guide]

USA Network on Wednesday announced that they’ve renewed Monk, the award-winning original series, starring Tony Shalhoub. The order is for 16 episodes.

The new Sci Fi series Dresden Files, as well as the returning Battlestar Galactica had trouble finding an audience Sunday night, as ‘Dresden’ failed to get to a good start and ‘Galactica’ was off from its Friday night average. (more…)
