Well kind of. Beginning June 4, the TV Guide Channel will be going under the new slightly revised name of TV Guide Network.

Steve Bellamy, founder and former president of the Tennis Channel, is focusing his efforts on another sports-themed television network. Atonal Sports and Entertainment, his company, is preparing to launch the Ski Channel as early as the first quarter of 2008.

Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip is coming back from its hiatus. According the official NBC website for the series, the freshman drama will return to the airwaves on Thursday, May 24 at 10:00 p.m.

Citing disagreements during contract talks; “They wanted me three years, I wanted one year, and it just didn’t work,” Rosie O’Donney announced today on The View that her tenure on the show will come to an end this year.

Passions is being resurrected. The long-running soap was canceled by NBC earlier in the year, but today DirecTV announced that they will be picking up the show. The series will end its run on NBC on September 7, and then begin its ninth season on DirecTV on September 17. (more…)

The SCI FI Channel and BBC Woldwide announced today that the US network continue airing the highly successful british series Doctor Who. The third season of the show will debut on SCI FI in July 2007.
