ABC Family’s Harry Potter marathon this weekend (discussed here) showcased five sneek preview videos from the sixth film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. All five of the videos have been released online. Check them out below.

IMAX has confirmed that a short 15-second teaser of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will play in front of IMAX screenings of The Dark Knight.

When The Dark Knight hits theaters on July 18th, Warner Bros. will be debuting the following trailers: Terminator Salvation, Watchmen and Body of Lies. Harry Potter 6 will not be attached. However, ComingSoon.net is now reporting that theater goers watching The Dark Knight at an IMAX theater may be getting a super brief teaser of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. With just over a week to go before the film’s release, we’ll find out for sure shortly.
The Dark Knight hits conventional and IMAX theaters on July 18, 2008.

Warner Bros. has set an official release date for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I. The film will release on November 19, 2010. That puts a two-year gap between the the next film Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (November 21, 2008). WB hasn’t yet set an exact date for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II, but they did note that it’ll release in May 2011.

Warner Bros. is today touting that their Harry Potter franchise has become the highest-grossing film franchise, with grosses surpassing $4.47 billion. A figure high enough to eclipse the six Star Wars films and all 21 James Bond films.

IMAX Corp. announced on Thursday that it will be converting the last part of the upcoming Warner Bros. film Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix from 2-D to 3-D.

When the final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows hits July 21st, it’ll break the record for the largest first printing, as Scholastic, Inc. announced on Wednesday that 12 million copies will be printed.

According to DanRadcliffe.co.uk, Daniel Radcliffe has been confirmed and signed on to star in the last two Harry Potter films: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (book due July 21, 2007).
