Deal or No Deal and The Biggest Loser score for NBC, as the network finishes in first place for the evening among overall audience and adults 18-49.

A repeat of NCIS, the night’s most-watched program, over on CBS helps the network post a tie among households for the evening.

My full analysis of the nights ratings follows after the jump.

Another routine Monday night goes to CBS, as the network finishes in first place across the board thanks to new episodes of How I Met Your Mother and CSI: Miami.

A special two-hour edition of Deal or No Deal though keeps NBC in the hunt in second place.

With the help of an NFL Overrun, CBS easily handedly takes the Sunday win, with an above average household, viewer and A18-49 delivery.

ABC was solid in second, getting a respectable outing from Oprah Winfrey Presents Mitch Albom’s For One More Day, while NBC gets a below-average performance out of the Steelers/Bengals Sunday Night Football telecast.

CSI (the nights most-watched program) powers CBS to a ratings win Thursday night among households and viewers, however, ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy (the nights most-watched program among adults 18-49) pushed the network to the top among adults 18-49.

Elsewhere on the night, the 300th episode of ER over on NBC went by mostly unnoticed, as the episode lost viewership from the week prior.

Thanks to a special two-hour edition of Deal or No Deal (the nights most-watched program), NBC came away with a rare Wednesday night victory among households and viewers.

ABC though was able to place first on the evening among adults 18-49, with the return of Private Practice, which was the nights most-watched program in the important A18-49 demographic.

On the heels of a strong performance from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (the night’s most-watched program among total viewers and adults 18-49), CBS wins the evening.

NBC and Fox are a competitive second and third, while ABC struggles in fourth place, as Boston Legal returns down more than 20% from its last newly aired episode.

With Dancing With the Stars no longer on the lineup, CBS’s evening of repeats led the night, giving the network a win among households and viewers.

NBC though took first place for the evening among adults 18-49, courtesy the season finale of Heroes, which did well overall, but couldn’t capitalize on the reduced competition and surprisingly decreased week-to-week in each category. Life saw a slight increase with its special airing out of Heroes. Earlier in the evening, Chuck held steady from the week prior.

Meanwhile on ABC, the network suffered significantly with the loss of Dancing With the Stars. Every series was down from the week prior, with the once promising Samantha Who? posting series low numbers, proving that unfortunately its prior successes had more to do with its strong Dancing With the Stars lead-in. Notes from the Underbelly fell flat in week two of the new season, while October Road shows no signs of being any sort of hit for the network.

ABC’s presentation of the film The Polar Express leads the network to a solid, and rare, Friday night win.

NBC took second place courtesy the nights most-watched program (Deal or No Deal) which returned ahead of its last newly aired segment, as did Las Vegas. Critical favorite Friday Night Lights mean while wasn’t able to post any gains from its last newly aired episode.

ABC’s new Christmas special Shrek the Halls (the night’s most-watched program), along with a repeat of the classic How the Grinch Stole Christmas gave the network a strong first place finish among adults 18-49.

CBS however still managed to finish the night in first place among households and viewers, with consistent performances from key shows Criminal Minds and CSI: New York.

ABC was still able to hold on to first place finishes among households, viewers and adults 18-49 (tied for first), but overall audience was down from the week prior due to week outings from the season premiere of Notes from the Underbelly and the timeperiod debut of October Road.

CBS remained a solid second among total viewership and was able to tie for first among adults 18-49, while NBC’s Heroes was the nights most-watched scripted program among adults 18-49.

Season high numbers from NBC’s Sunday Night Football puts the network in a strong first place for the evening among viewers and adults 18-49, while CBS still gets good mileage from their lineup, which was boosted by an NFL Overrun to keep the network in first among households.

ABC meanwhile remained competitive, placing second for the evening among adults 18-49.

With ABC sinking on this heavily traveled Thanksgiving Eve (all three of their freshman series posted significant week-to-week losses, and series low numbers), CBS remained a solid first, with a slight increase in total viewership from the week prior.

NBC meanwhile got good results from a special two-hour airing of Deal or No Deal. The CW saw reduced results for a new episode of America’s Next Top Model, while Fox aired repeats of its comedy duo and a new episode of Kitchen Nightmares (which was also down).

Two Charlie Brown specials, an improved outing of Dancing With the Stars, and a Bachelor special propel ABC to a strong win among households and viewers.

Fox, however, still manages to eek out an A18-49 victory thanks to the night’s most-watched program in that demo House.
