According to multiple sources, CBS is very close to bringing Jericho back for another season.

One source, Michael Ausiello of TVGuide, reports that the network may bring the show back for at least eight episodes, possibly as a mid-season replacement.

He goes on to say that it is by no means official, but that “it certainly sounds like it could be by day’s end. It’s now just a matter of signing the actors to new deals and, according to one insider, finding a new soundstage to house the show’s sets.”

CBS has not confirmed this news, so it should be treated as a rumor until more is known.

Other sources indicate that the series could return with seven episodes, and if ratings are strong and improve, the show would be renewed for a full 22 episodes (Entertainment Weekly).

This is fantastic news!! We are one step closer to the ultimate prize. If it is just 8 episodes I just know it will be expanded to more! This show deserves some much needed recognition and these fans are going to make sure to spread the word!

why do the good die young. Jericho, Firefly, the Class, Travelor, The Nine, Drive. These networks put out great shows with almost no advertisement and pull them so fast that most of the world did not even get the chance to know that they ever existed.
