Spike TV has announced that Lucy Liu and Mark Hamil will be voicing characters in the original movie Afro Samurai: Resurrection, which debuts on the network in January 2009.  The network has also released a trailer for the movie, check it out at this link.

Samuel L. Jackson is returning to host Spike TV’s 2007 Video Game Awards.  This will be the actor’s third straight year at the helm of the awards event, which is now in its fifth year.

Spike TV has extended its deal with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.  They’ll remain the exclusive basic-cable home to the league through 2011.
