A close Tuesday night results in split victories for CBS and NBC, as CBS takes the overall audience win and NBC takes the A18-49 crown, easily, thanks to the season finale of The Biggest Loser.
In the game show vs. game show contest between ABC’s Duel and NBC’s Clash of the Choirs, ‘Choirs’ comes away with the victory.

The season finale of Survivor: China finishes on a high note, as the program posts strong cycle to cycle gains from last May’s Survivor: Fiji. It was down though compared to last year’s Cook Islands cycle. Regardless, the program, and the reunion special afterwards, provided CBS with a strong household and viewers win for the evening.
Fox took the A18-49 crown thanks to an NFL Overrun and new (and repeat) episodes of their animated comedy lineup.

Deal or No Deal and The Biggest Loser score for NBC, as the network finishes in first place for the evening among overall audience and adults 18-49.

With the help of an NFL Overrun, CBS easily handedly takes the Sunday win, with an above average household, viewer and A18-49 delivery.
ABC was solid in second, getting a respectable outing from Oprah Winfrey Presents Mitch Albom’s For One More Day, while NBC gets a below-average performance out of the Steelers/Bengals Sunday Night Football telecast.

CSI (the nights most-watched program) powers CBS to a ratings win Thursday night among households and viewers, however, ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy (the nights most-watched program among adults 18-49) pushed the network to the top among adults 18-49.
Elsewhere on the night, the 300th episode of ER over on NBC went by mostly unnoticed, as the episode lost viewership from the week prior.

Thanks to a special two-hour edition of Deal or No Deal (the nights most-watched program), NBC came away with a rare Wednesday night victory among households and viewers.
ABC though was able to place first on the evening among adults 18-49, with the return of Private Practice, which was the nights most-watched program in the important A18-49 demographic.

On the heels of a strong performance from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer (the night’s most-watched program among total viewers and adults 18-49), CBS wins the evening.
NBC and Fox are a competitive second and third, while ABC struggles in fourth place, as Boston Legal returns down more than 20% from its last newly aired episode.

The limited reach of NFL Network didn’t hurt the ratings for the Packers/Cowboys match-up.
Despite being available in only 35 million homes, NFL Network set a new record, as the highly hyped Dallas Cowboys/Green Bay Packers match-up produced an incredibly strong 14.6 coverage household rating, and over 10 million viewers.

With Dancing With the Stars no longer on the lineup, CBS’s evening of repeats led the night, giving the network a win among households and viewers.
NBC though took first place for the evening among adults 18-49, courtesy the season finale of Heroes, which did well overall, but couldn’t capitalize on the reduced competition and surprisingly decreased week-to-week in each category. Life saw a slight increase with its special airing out of Heroes. Earlier in the evening, Chuck held steady from the week prior.
Meanwhile on ABC, the network suffered significantly with the loss of Dancing With the Stars. Every series was down from the week prior, with the once promising Samantha Who? posting series low numbers, proving that unfortunately its prior successes had more to do with its strong Dancing With the Stars lead-in. Notes from the Underbelly fell flat in week two of the new season, while October Road shows no signs of being any sort of hit for the network.

ABC got a great performance out of its heavily promoted episode of Desperate Housewives, which was the nights most most-watched program, and won the evening.
CBS, NBC and Fox however remained competitive, keeping the overall numbers very close.
