Broadcast TV Ratings for Wednesday, December 26, 2007 December 27, 2007 4:30 pm

Repeats filled the schedule for all five networks resulting split ownership of the night by NBC (households and viewers) and Fox (adults 18-49).

NBC finished in first place for the evening with a 5.2/9 household rating/share and 7.89 million viewers, but was third among among adults 18-49 with a 2.2/7 rating/share.

  • Last Week:
    • Households – 4.6/8 [#2]
    • Viewers – 7.05M [#2]
    • A18-49 – 2.2/6 [#2]
  • 8:00 p.m: A repeat of Most Outrageous Moments (4.5/8 HH rating/share, 7.09M viewers, 2.1/6 A18-49 rating/share).
    • Last week’s numbers (Clash of the Choirs):
      • Households – 5.4/9
      • Viewers – 8.26M
      • Adults 18-49 – 2.4/7
  • 9:00 p.m: That was followed by a repeat of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (5.3/9 HH rating/share, 7.84M viewers, 2.1/6 A18-49 rating/share).
  • 10:00 p.m: And then another repeat of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (5.9/11 HH rating/share, 8.83M viewers, 2.5/7 A18-49 rating/share).
    • Last week’s numbers (Journeyman):
      • Households – 3.2/5
      • Viewers – 4.62M
      • Adults 18-49 – 1.7/5

CBS followed in second place for the evening with a 4.7/8 household rating/share, but fell to third among viewers with 7.18 million and among adults 18-49 with a 1.4/4 rating/share.

    • Viewers – 10.04M [#1]
    • Adults 18-49 – 2.7/8 [#1]
  • 8:00 p.m.: A repeat of Criminal Minds (6.0/10 HH rating/share, 9.11M viewers, 1.9/6 A18-49 rating/share).
    • Last week’s numbers (Frosty the Snowman-REPEAT):
      • Households – 4.4/8
      • Viewers – 7.43M
      • Adults 18-49 – 2.4/8
    • Last week’s numbers (Frosty Returns-REPEAT):
      • Households – 3.9/7
      • Viewers – 6.83M
      • Adults 18-49 – 2.0/6
  • 9:00 p.m.: Kennedy Center Honors (4.2/7 HH rating/share, 6.21M viewers, 1.1/3 A18-49 rating/share).

Fox finished in third place for the evening with a 4.3/7 household rating/share, was second among viewers with 7.25 million and managed a strong first place finish among adults 18-49 with a 2.4/7 rating/share among adults 18-49.

ABC followed in fourth place for the evening with a 2.7/5 household rating/share, 3.95 million viewers and a 1.2/3 rating/share among adults 18-49.

  • 9:00 p.m.: A repeat of Private Practice (2.9/5 HH rating/share, 4.15M viewers, 1.3/3 A18-49 rating/share).
  • 10:00 (10:02) p.m.: And that was followed by a repeat of Dirty Sexy Money (2.4/4 HH rating/share, 3.37M viewers, 1.0/3 A18-49 rating/share).
    • Last week’s numbers (Holiday Celebration at Ford’s Theater):
      • Households – 3.3/6
      • Viewers – 4.75M
      • Adults 18-49 – 1.1/3

The CW finished in fifth place for the evening with a 1.1/2 household rating/share, 1.55 million viewers and a 0.6/2 rating/share among adults 18-49.

    • Adults 18-49 – 0.8/2 [#5]
  • 8:00 p.m.: Crowned: The Mother of all Pageants (1.3/2 HH rating/share, 1.81M viewers, 0.8/2 A18-49 rating/share).

      • Households – 1.3/2 to 1.3/2
      • Viewers – 1.81M to 1.81M

  • 9:00 p.m.: And that was followed by a repeat of Gossip Girl (0.9/2 HH rating/share, 1.29M viewers, 0.4/1 A18-49 rating/share).
    • Last week’s numbers (Gossip Girl):
      • Households – 1.3/2
      • Viewers – 1.81M
      • Adults 18-49 – 0.8/2
