According to Broadcasting & Cable, ABC and Jimmy Kimmel are close to signing a multi-year extension which will keep Kimmel with the network (and the network in the late-night market) past the 2009 season.

There were seven new releases in the top 20 DVD charts this past week, and just like the week prior, the top three spots were occupied by new releases.

First for the week was Cinderella III: A Twist In Time, followed by Flags of Our Fathers in second place and Flicka in third.

Most people couldn’t even imagine watching their television in this day and age without the comfort of never having to get up to change the channel.

It’s a convenience we often times take for granted.

Robert Adler, co-creator of the first television remote, passed away Thursday of heart failure at a Boise nursing home. He was 93.
