Judge Will Issue Watchmen Release Decision on January 20th January 7, 2009 8:08 pm

The Los Angeles Times is reporting that lawyers for 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros. have both agreed to forgo a trial and let a federal judge decide on whether or not Warner Bros. will be allowed to release Watchmen on March 6th, as scheduled. A preliminary ruling on December 24th by Judge Gary A. Feess ruled that Fox owned a copyright interest in releasing the film.
