Watchmen.  U.S. district Court Judge Gary Feess last week came down with a ruling agreeing with Fox that Warner Bros. had infringed its copyright by developing and shooting the film.  A trial is scheduled for January 20th to decide any remaining issues.

An attourney for Warner Bros. said that he didn’t know if an appeal was coming, but that he thinks a trial is necessary and a settlement is unlikely.

Watchmen is still scheduled for release on March 6, 2009.
