ESPN has announced that they’re adding another high-definition channel to their lineup. ESPNews HD will be launching March 2008.
The network already has carriage deals for the network with satellite provider DirecTV and cable operators Comcast and Time Warner.
ESPNews HD will join ESPN HD (available in 14 million homes) and ESPN2 HD (available in 9.4 million homes).
A feature exclusive to the channel will be the HD Sideline. The graphic will wrap around the top left and bottom of the HD screen. The Sideline will display textual information, headshots, news and scores, while still delivering a window for all video highlights in HD.

What provider do you have, sammy? The network is on various cable networks, and will apparently launch on Wednesday (April 2nd) on DirecTV and Dish Network. I’ll try to see If I can get more info and update this posting later in the week.
