A sequel (and possible prequel) to the Scorsese hit The Departed was touched upon here a few days back, but now comes news from The Hollywood Reporter that talks are officially underway for a sequel to the movie.

Dino De Laurentiis, producer of Hannibal Rising (due February 9) told MTV that he is interesting in making even more films about the character Hannibal Lecter.
