HBO Sports Announces a Four-Part Boxing Series January 27, 2007 3:27 pm

HBO is launching a boxing series, which will tie-in with the bout between Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather, which takes place May 5.

The short series, De La Hoya/Mayweather 24/7, will premiere Sunday, April 15 at 10:30 p.m., immediately following The Sopranos and Entourage. The remaining three episodes will air at the same time on the 22nd, the 29th and at 9:30 p.m. on May 3.

The WBC Junior Middleweight Championship bout between the two boxers will take place May 5 on HBO PPV.
