Trying to capitalize on the growing online video downloading market, Amazon has unveiled a new iTunes like service called Unbox.

The service currently is offering a wide range of television shows and movies in high-quality DVD video, including recent movies such as V For Vendetta and Firewall, and even currently airing shows like Prison Break and Bones.

It is also streaming old hits including the critically acclaimed and fan loved series Firefly.

The site also boasts the exclusive online download rights to two Star Trek series; The Original Series and the recently canceled Star Trek: Enterprise.

Each television episode carries the same price; $1.99, and discounts are applied if you purchase an entire season of a series.

Movies have no set price, but are expected to cost no more than $15.
Those looking for good deals should be happy to learn that Amazon is offering an instant discount of $1.99 off your first purchase.
