Disney/Pixar’s Up will be opening the 62nd Festival de Cannes. This is the first time that an animated film, and a 3D film, will be the opening ceremony film at the festival.
Up hits conventional and 3D theaters on May 29, 2009. The 62nd Festival de Cannes opens on May 13th and runs through Sunday May 24th. The full press release follows after the jump. (more…)
