CBS takes the first Friday of May sweeps with a lower than average performance. No show was able to hit 10M or a 3.0 among adults 18-49. Numb3rs was the evening’s top-rated and most watched program, while 20/20 took top honors among adults 18-49.

Laurence Fishburne has been cast in the upcoming sequel to Fantastic Four, Fantastic Four: The Rise of the Silver Surfer. Fishburne will voice the “Silver Surfer”.

MSNBC’s anchorman Keith Olbermann has been added to the cast of NBC’s Football Night in America.
Olbermann, a former ESPN SportsCenter anchor, will co-host the Sunday-evening show alongside Bob Costas and Cris Collinsworth in the studio. They will be joined by Jerome Bettis, and another addition, retired New York Giants running back Tiki Barber.

The struggling freshman comedy will no longer air on Thursday nights. NBC announced today they will be moving the series to Saturday nights where it will air its final two episodes of its first season order.
