The two-hour series finale of Battlestar Galactica drew 2.4 million viewerslast Friday, according to preliminary data (final data will be released by Tuesday/Wednesday). While on its own, that’s not all that impressive (after all, a normal airing of Ghost Hunters on the network drew 2.7 million viewers the week before last), but when compared to its most recent episode, the show was up 41%. Overall, the 10-episode season 4.5 averaged 1.77M viewers.
The finale was also the most-watched episode of the series since the season 2.5 premiere nearly 3 years ago on January 6, 2006.
