After a run of just four episodes, CBS has decided to cancel its low-rated new drama The Ex List.  This Friday’s episode, which will be its fifth, will be the end of the line.  Nine episodes are in the pipe, and while the remaining four may be run off some time in the future, CBS has not announced when that might be.  In the mean time, repeats of NCIS will fill in the Friday 9pm time slot.

The Ex List is actually the first new drama this season to be canceled and continues CBS’s unfortunate slump of failed TV dramas that don’t involve crime.

Why not give it more time if your just going to play stupid reruns… Hello people… Get a grip.. Some people like the show… Friday is not a big tv night no ways.It was refreshing.

Personally, I’m kind of happy that this show is being pulled. If only they’d bring back Moonlight. The plot lines may have been thin, but the eye candy made the show worthwile…what’s not to like about a hottie vampire? All my friends/family loved this show, and it made Friday night television something to anticipate rather than dread.

Gosh, how about you give a show a chance! This was a must-see for me and just like Moonlight you bozos snatch it from the schedule. You don’t allow enough time to build an audience. That’s why your ratings are so low! CBS you suck!

I can’t believe CBS would pull a show from it’s Friday line-up and add a rerun! Whomever is in charge of the programming should be fired. The Ex List was charming and a very nice addition to my Tivo.

It was enlightening to watch something that wasn’t a crime show! CBS takes one step forward and three steps backwards. It seems you just can’t be happy with what’s on TV unless you’re one of the stereotypes that many of the TV programs now service.

I REALLY liked this show! It had really great, real acting and it made me laugh. I was so sad when it wasn’t on Friday night. Even if I’m not home to watch it (Friday nights are pretty much a write of for new shows) I would record it. Yah, give new shows a chance..crazy. Too bad.

I loved the show. Yeah CBS that is what you guys needed to do fill the slot with a crime show. I bet your people are scurrying around trying to find another CRIME show. If it wasn’t for How I met your Mother and Amazing Race I would consider you mute.

I’m glad the show was cancelled. I’m still upset with CBS for pulling Moonlight last year. CBS needs to realize if a show get’s chosen for the People’s Choice Award for best new series, then it’s a show worth fighting for.
