The Two Coreys
‘THE TWO COREYS’ RETURNS TO A&E WITH A STARK LOOK AT HAIM & FELDMAN’S DAMAGED RELATIONSHIP
SERIES PREMIERES SUNDAY, JUNE 22 AT 10:00PM ET/PT
New York, NY – May 27, 2008 – The first season of “The Two Coreys” left Corey Feldman and Corey Haim at loggerheads over their personal and professional relationship. And so, with their brotherhood at stake, the second season premieres Sunday, June 22 at 10:00PM ET/PT with a no-holds-barred fresh look at the two former friends’ damaged relationship. Nothing they say or do is off-limits to the cameras in this new cinema verite take on the 80’s icons.
Corey Haim & Corey Feldman give deep, personal access to their storied friendship like never before which lends the show rare honesty and candor. Throughout the series, Feldman and Haim try a variety of tasks to resuscitate their relationship. Like a couple that has grown apart, they will need to go back to their roots to rediscover the bond that once made them closer than brothers, learn to trust one another again, and ultimately find common ground in the present. Along the way, both Coreys will deal with very real issues (including their reunion on Lost Boys 2), go to therapy sessions together, reveal their demons and confront their storied pasts.
“The Two Coreys” is produced by RDF USA and Tijuana Entertainment for A&E Network. Chris Coelen, Greg Goldman and Tony Yates serve as executive producers for RDF USA. Tory Searer (“Breaking Bonaduce”) and John Foy (“Breaking Bonaduce”) serve as executive producers for Tijuana Entertainment. Intervention
A&E NETWORK’S AWARD-WINNING DOCUMENTARY SERIES INTERVENTION RETURNS FOR A FIFTH SEASON ON MONDAY, JUNE 16
SEASON TO INCLUDE FIRST-EVER REUNION SPECIAL
NEW YORK, NY, JUNE 3, 2008 A&E’s critically-acclaimed and award-winning documentary series INTERVENTION, which profiles people who are struggling with addictions and the friends and family members who are seeking to help them, will premiere its fifth season on Monday, June 16 at 9pm ET/PT.
The season opener of the Emmy-nominated and three-time Prism Award-winning series profiles Chad, a gifted athlete whose once promising career as a pro-cyclist was cut short by his addiction to crack cocaine. After a troubled childhood that sent him to juvenile hall for felony arson, Chad’s father introduced him to cycling at age 15. Chad went pro and cycled on the same team as Lance Armstrong. But after getting kicked off the team for “personality conflicts,” Chad was crushed and turned to drugs. Now homeless, Chad spends his days panhandling, smoking crack, and drinking. His family’s many efforts to get him off the streets have failed. .
Also scheduled to air later this season is the one-hour special, Intervention: After Treatment (w.t.). Former addicts from the series past four seasons will come together in an intimate Los Angeles studio for a candid discussion. How did the intervention change their lives? What are the relationships with their families like now? And how are they doing since the intervention, are among the questions they will address. The addicts will come face-to-face with their interventionists and families, some for the first time since going to treatment.
INTERVENTION is a powerful and gripping series in which people confront their darkest demons and seek a route to redemption. The series profiles people whose dependence on drugs and alcohol or other compulsive behavior has brought them to a point of personal crisis and estranged them from their friends and loved ones. Each episode ends with a surprise intervention that is staged by the family and friends of the addict, and which is conducted by one of three specialists: Jeff VanVonderen, Candy Finningan and Ken Seeley.
Robert Sharenow and Colleen Conway are the executive producers for A&E Network. INTERVENTION is produced for A&E Network by GRB. Dan Partland and Sam Mettler are executive producers. The series was created by Sam Mettler.
