Casting Bites: Caprica, Eureka, 90210 and Fallon Confirmed as Conan O’Brien Replacement May 12, 2008 7:12 pm

Eric Stoltz (pictured right) is the latest addition to the cast of the SCI FI Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica.  The actor has been cast as Daniel Graystone, a wealthy computer engineer.  In other SCI FI channel news, Frances Fisher has signed onto the drama/comedy Eureka for an eight episode run.  The actress will play Samantha Thorne, aka “the fixer”. What’s old is new again as Beverly Hills, 90210 alum Jennie Garth has been cast in the CW’s spinoff.  The actress will reprise her role as Keylly Taylor from the original series and will play a guidance counselor at West Beverly Hills High, her alma mater. [THR]

NBC today made it official.  Jimmy Fallon will be taking over for Conan O’Brien on Late Night.  Conan himself will be replacing Jay Leno in 2009.
