“Beauty and the Geek” Finale Likely the End, At Least for Now April 29, 2008 10:05 pm

The May 13th season finale of CW’s reality series Beauty and the Geek will likely be the show’s last episode, at least for some time. According to Variety, CW executives have decided that they’re going to put the series on hold for a few years.
Apparently the plan is to rest the show with the option to one day revive it, but only when enough time passes so that the format “could once again seem fresh”, though nothing has been confirmed yet.
The series is doing very poorly this season, averaging just 1.68M viewers and a 0.8/2 rating among adults 18-49.
