Shock Till You Drop is reporting that they’ve received a tip over the weekend from a source at 20th Century Fox claiming that a sequel to last December’s Aliens vs. Predator: Requim is a “certainty”.
Considering the subdued reaction to the film from fans and critics alike, I find it quite surprising that a sequel seems to be such a sure thing. I thought it was a big letdown, mostly due to the horrible acting from everyone involved. But despite failing to reach $50 million domestically, it did manage to rake in more than $130 million worldwide. So it’s not too surprising to hear Fox so interested at making another go at it.
