After it began its run on HBO more than 30 years ago, HBO is ending their relationship with the NFL’s Inside the NFL.

This Wednesday’s show was the series’ last on the network.

“It has been a terrific franchise,” HBO Sports president Ross Greenburg said. “But the television landscape has changed quite a bit over the last 30 years, and we have to recognize the realities of the business.”

The NFL said on Wednesday that it will continue with Inside the NFL on another network, and that there have been discussions with three or four other unnamed outlets, though no deal has been made.  The NFL is confident the show will kick off again in the fall, regardless.

I freaking hope it finds a home. “Inside the NFL” is the week’s best recap and analysis show! The hosts over the years have been some of the game’s greatest players and analysts.
My wife and I look forward to it every week! I will keep my eyes open for it’s return.
thanks,
JR
