The critically praised drama series Brotherhood is returning for a third season. Showtime has ordered eight more episodes of the series, which stars Jason Isaacs, Jason Clarke and Annabeth Gish.
Ratings weren’t particulary strong for the series, but it is held in high standing within CBS Corp, and it did show some modest improvement this year airing out of the networks hit drama Dexter.
” ‘Brotherhood’ is one of our shining hours at Showtime — a drama series that is among the highest-quality shows offered anywhere on television,” Showtime’s entertainment president Robert Greenblatt said. “And we’re proud to keep it firmly in our portfolio.”

Brotherhood is the BEST show on television. It surpasses The Sopranos – the acting and the plots are fabulous. We are very happy that it has been renewed. I know several people that feel the same…Thank you Showtime!!!!
