NFL fans who don’t have NFL Network need not worry about missing out on this coming Saturday’s Giants vs. Patriots matchup, as the NFL has announced that the game will be given a three-network telecast.  The game will be shown on CBS and NBC, in addition to its normal broadcast on NFL Network.

The move follows after the league was pressured in recent weeks by those in Washington to allow coverage of the game to the nation.  NFL Network is currently only available in 43 million cable and satellite homes across the nation.

CBS and NBC will carry the NFL Network feed, featuring Bryant Gumbel on play by play, and Chris Collinsworth as analyst.

I’m glad that they’ve decided not to just show this game on the NFL network. I really don’t get why they showed certain games only on the NFL network anyway.

omg tell Collinsworth to shut his thin withdrawn face
he is the worst sports announcer aside from bob costas

he makes things up
he tries to cause controversy where there is none
he is an impish bloviating turd

Why not tell us how you really feel, Joe. ;)

Collinsworth is okay, I personally have a problem with Bryant. He’s usually incredibly unenthusiastic. He’s a bit better tonight though.
