‘Wolverine’ Filming Begins in Three Weeks December 19, 2007 2:05 pm

In a piece on Hugh Jackman finished shooting on director Baz Luhrmann’s most recent film Stay in Touch, The Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that filming on Jackman’s upcoming X-Men spin-off X-Men Origins: Wolverine will begin in just three weeks.

From the Herald:

Jackman has three weeks off before starting work in New Zealand on the X-Men spin-off Wolverine.

‘Wolverine’ is the first of two planned X-Men spinoffs, the other being focused on Magneto.  Directed by Gavin Hood, the film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 1, 2009.
