Speaking at the 35th annual UBS Global Media & Communications Conference in New York, CBS president and CEO, Les Moonves told the crowd that two freshman shows (The Big Bang Theory and Moonlight) will likely return next season.

Additionally, Moonves announced that the network is looking into the possibility of airing programs from sister pay TV network Showtime (he mentioned Dexter specifically), if the writers strike doesn’t end soon.

Dexter will have to be edited down, given its more mature content, but he told the audience that “the quality of Showtime, show for show, is as good as any network on broadcast or cable”.

Big Bang theory is an awesome intellectual comedy that has been great from the beginning, now get this writers strike over with so you can start pumpin out some new episodes for this season too!
