WB To Restart “Terminator” Franchise with ‘Terminator Salvation’ October 10, 2007 12:34 am

Warner Bros. has acquired the North American film rights to Terminator, and the studio intends to restart the franchise.
The first film, Terminator Salvation: The Future Begins will begin production in early 2008. Plans are to reinvent the franchise with a storyline to be told over a three-picture frame.
The film is expected to be released in the summer of 2009.
