“Gossip Girl” Given Full Season Order October 9, 2007 8:40 pm

Multiple sources are reporting that The CW has given a back-nine order to Gossip Girl. It’s the first new show of the season to be awarded a full season.

Premiering September 19 with high expectations, Gossip Girl premiered to only 3.50 million viewers (a 2.3/4 rating/share among households and a 1.6/4 rating/share among adults 18-49).

Through three episodes, the show has averaged the following ratings: 2.91 million viewers, 1.9/3 household rating/share, 1.3/3 adults 18-49 rating/share.

Gossip Girl airs Wednesday nights at 9:00 p.m. on The CW.
