Dish Joins DirecTV in Offering Big Ten Network September 7, 2007 5:20 pm

Missing out on that amazing Michigan/Appalachian State game last week may have pushed DISH to expediate their pick-up of the Big Ten Network.  The satellite provider today announced that the station has been added to their lineup of networks.

Big Ten Network has been placed on the satellites basic America’s Top 100 tier (channel 439).

The specifics of the deal are that it will be stay on the America’s Top 100 tier for at least Big Ten country through the next basketball season, but will perhaps be moved up to another tier for the rest of the country at that time.
