Universal May Be Planning a Fourth ‘Fast and Furious’ August 27, 2007 12:17 am

There might be some movement from Universal on getting another Fast and the Furious film off the ground.
According to the car enthusiast web site Edmunds, pre-production has begun on the fourth film in the franchise. Sources told the site that it is “in development at Universal.”
No particulars, such as writer or director, or story, are known yet. Apparently the plan is get the film ready for a Summer 2008 release. With no official comment from the studio, take this all with a grain a salt until we can get more clarification.
