Dancing With the Stars Contestants To Be Announced Wednesday on GMA August 27, 2007 8:52 pm

Sticking to the same approach they took last season in announcing the new cast for Dancing With the Stars (related article here) ABC will make the reveal this coming Wednesday during a special edition of Good Morning America.
Rumors are already floating through the internet about who may be on the new season. Sports Illustrated for instance is reporting that billionaire and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban will be one of the contestants.
An extensive list of others rumored to be on the show was posted at Reality TV Magazine: Lou Ferrigno, Wayne Newton, Aaron Carter, Floyd Mayweather, Jr., Richard Quest, Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown, Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth, Nia Peeples, Patrick Swayze, Helio Castroneves, Jane Seymour, Marily Henner, Giselle Bunchen, Ashley Tisdale, John Stamos, Greta Van Sustern, Barry Williams, Oscar De La Hoya, Marie Osmond and Sabrina Bryan.

I should love to see Patrick Swayze and Sandra Bullock as contestants. OMG, Sandra loves the salsa, and Patrick is……well, good at EVERYTHING. This couple would draw MILLIONS of viewers!!!

I have to agree with Debby, Patrick Swazye couldn’t possibly compete because he is a professional dancer, as is his wife. On top of that, his mother (Patsy Swayze) is a professional choreographer. He attended the Harkness Ballet School and the Joffrey Ballet School. He could, however be one of the professional dancers to partner with a celebrity!

First I’d like to say that Dance War is terrible. I love the dancing but the show is just not put together well.
Now moving on to Dancing with the Stars. I’d love to see them pair up some of the professionals that normally get voted out early (like Alec!) with someone who at least half knows what they are doing.

I would like to see Kevin Bacon, Patrick Swazye, and John Travolta go at it. I know Swayze is a pro but it would still be great!
I saw in an interview that Bill Kaulitz,lead singer of Tokio Hotel and he confirmed,that he would be on Dancing with the Stars. He confirmed it on April 21st I believe.
There is only one Dancing with the Stars,right?
