Marvel Studios has named Matthew Vaughn to direct Thor.
Based on the comic book character of the same name, Thor is being readied for early production starting this winter in an effort to get ahead of the possible strike. Mark Protosevich (I Am Legend) was responsible for the adaption of the comicbook franchise character
This is Vaughn’s second attachment to a superhero film, after previously backing out of director duty on X-Men 3.Source: Variety
