The Hallmark Movie Channel is making the move to high-definition. The network will be offering an HD simulcast, and will have the channel up by the first quarter of next year.
The move “is in direct response to the growing demand for family-friendly content on television today,” said Henry Schleiff, who is the president and CEO of Crown media Holdings, the parent company of Hallmark Channel and its all-movie sibling.Source: Variety
