Paramount revealed the poster to the still untitled Cloverfield/1-18-08 JJ Abrams project today during their Comic-Con panel.
Check out the poster below:

Here’s a quick bit of what was shown during the panel, courtesy Cinamatical:
Cloverfield! Bad Robot presents … something. A bunch of kids recording farewell messages on on a video gamera to Rob, who is heading off to Japan. Then .. the lights go dark, alarms start sounding, and there’s some strange roaring sound being reported on the news. The partygoers head to the roof, wondering what’s up. Suddenly a MASSIVE explosion occurs in the distance. Debris (or meteorites?) start crashing down everywhere. The head of the Statue of Liberty crashes to the ground on a New York street in front of fleeing spectators. Wow. It’s all show handheld and reality style. This looks pretty damned impressive.

cool but people said there were little creatures but i didn’t see any
This movie was amazing! The fact that the guy video taping [Forgot his name! Do remember Beth, Lily, Jason, and Rob though!] didn’t really suck made it awesome! Also, in most monster/alien movies, there is a reason for the things being on Earth. On this movie, ofcourse, you don’t know why because it’s mainly about Rob trying to get to Beth before she dies because they LOVE eachother. This is my favorite movie now, no doubt. No soundtrack, pretty insane!
I would like to commend the movie on being absolutely one of a kind. Although the video style is not original, having first been done in The Blair Witch Project, it is original in the sense that it is better. Cloverfield is really a masterpiece, and the cinematic wonder of these digital cameras is impressive.
I would also like to point out that although the movie was well done in the realistic sense, there is a sort of movie magic quality to it. How many people after being bitten by a baby giant “something” , or impaled by a metal rod, you would not be running for blocks and blocks on end. Also, falling out of the sky in a helicopter and crash landing in the middle of Central Park, it would be highly improbable to crawl out of it alive. Thirdly, and yes lastly, watching your friend getting eaten by a giant “something” from wherever, you would not be running back for the f**king video camera!
All in all, movie was fantastic. I was at the edge of my seat gripping the arms rests for dear life. Being filmed at the perspective it was, makes for a very heart-filled watch. You feel for these people.
Are you idiots kidding me?
This has got to be one of the worst movies ever made, besides that dumb blair witch garbage.
This is why society is going down an empty spiral, because idiots like you support the next hyped movie, that they tell you it’s good but it’s not. Don’t be STUPID, think for yourself and stop defending garbage like this just because someone else liked it.
One of the WORST movies EVER!
