What about October Road?

Rosario T. Calabria's avatar 7. Russ T.C. - August 20, 2007 6:05 pm

October Road was renewed for a second season but will not be on the fall schedule. Look for it at midseason (or later). ABC will make an announcement when it becomes more clear when it’ll return.

Will Gilligan or the Harlem Globetrotters come to the rescue?? Find out mid season

Rosario T. Calabria's avatar 11. Russ T.C. - August 21, 2007 10:13 pm

Lost will return sometime after the new year. Remember, for the remaining three years of the show there will only be 16 episodes per season, so ABC will do everything in their power to hold off on it because they intend to air the entire season as one straight shot, like Fox does with 24.

when does the new season start for Wildfire

Rosario T. Calabria's avatar 13. Russ T.C. - August 24, 2007 9:44 pm

Hi denise. There is no release date set yet for the fourth season.

I have an article here on the site with several comments from other fans. Feel free to post there. When a release date is set for the new season, I’ll make an update to the following article:

“Wildfire” third season premiere date set, and series given an early fourth season renewal

dj's avatar 15. dj - August 31, 2007 12:43 am

glad to hear that Lost wants to run straight through but will the networks be doing that few weeks on, few weeks off garbage again this season for other shows? We actually stopped watching some shows that were fun because we just found other stuff to do at those times. couldn’t keep track of the on off stuff and got tired of turning on to episodes we had already seen and missing some new ones.

What about Traveler? I loved that show! please don’t tell me it was cancelled! when does it start back up again???

Rosario T. Calabria's avatar 19. Russ T.C. - September 1, 2007 8:51 pm

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, Danielle, but yes it was canceled. I too was a fan. :(

ABC never made an official announcement, but the series’s creator pretty much confirmed it in a post at TV Guide (you can read the article on my site here).

David DiGilio (creator) had a few more posts at his TVGuide blog, with the latest one being on July 30th. In that post he said the show was still on “permanent hiatus”.

Here’s his TVGuide.com blog:

As I said a couple posts above yours (this comment), the status of Traveler is that it’s not returning.

What about the show Just for Laughs? It’s an updated version of Candid Camera. I’ve always loved Alan Funt. I can’t believe how loud I laugh at that show! I just discovered it, and can’t wait for each episode. Will Just for Laughs continue into the Fall 2007 season? Thanks for your great web site!

Cathi's avatar 30. Cathi - September 7, 2007 5:38 am

Sorry, I meant the tv series 24 with Jack Bauer…will it be returning and when?

Rosario T. Calabria's avatar 31. Russ T.C. - September 7, 2007 12:29 pm

Chris
October Road was renewed and will be returning at midseason. No date yet. In case you were interested, the Season 1 DVD will be released on October 30 (you can pre-order at Amazon.com for $19.99).

Kathy
ABC recently ordered up an additional 13 episodes of Just for Laughs (related article here). It’s been doing well for the network. These 13 episodes will likely be used sometime during the fall or midseason to fill in any holes left in their schedule.

Cathi
Not sure if you’re aware of this, but I have a similar thread for FOX programming (check it out here).

24 will return, as is now customary, at around January. It’ll run its season of 24 episodes straight through.
