Adding to its 2007/2008 slate, CBS has picked up the Chris Klein/Jeffrey Tambor comedy The Captain.
Six episodes of the series, which revolves around a young writer who moves into an old-school Hollywood complex, were ordered. It will air during mid-season.
The pickup makes it two comedies for CBS, the other being Big Bang Theory.
