The nominees have been announced for this year’s edition of the MTV Movie Awards, which will be broadcast for the first time live and hosted by Sarah Silverman on June 3.

Steve Bellamy, founder and former president of the Tennis Channel, is focusing his efforts on another sports-themed television network. Atonal Sports and Entertainment, his company, is preparing to launch the Ski Channel as early as the first quarter of 2008.
