Two official stills of Stallone in character in the upcoming John Rambo have been posted on the net.

Manga Films just sent us the first official pictures of John Rambo, the fourth installment of the banished soldier interpreted by Silvester Stalone. In one of them he is lurking over the enemy, the classical ruffian of the forest, and in the other with his knife which he’s had his whole life.
I actually thinks he looks pretty good, considering his age. They certainly look better than the first leaked set images from nearly two months ago.
In the film, renegade Vietnam War veteran John Rambo comes out of retirement as a boat repairman in Bangkok to track down missionary aid workers who have disappeared in the jungles of impoverished Myanmar.
Though no exact date has been set, John Rambo is expected to be released in 2008.
