Rivers Mother/Daughter Team Out, Rinna In at TV Guide April 18, 2007 5:45 pm

TV Guide has singed actress Lisa Rinna to be the sole host of red-carpet events for the network, choosing to let go of Joan and Melissa Rivers.
Rinna makes her first appearance during the Emmy Awards (September 16) and will cover four other annual events: the Oscars, Grammys, Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards.
In a statement, Ryan O’Hara, president of TV Guide Channel, said Rinna should fit in well, because of her experience serving in a similar capacity for Access Hollywood.
Of The Rivers’, O’Hara said the network was “appreciative of Joan and Melissa Rivers’ contributions to the success of our red carpet programming”.
