According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tom Hanks and Ron Howard are in final negotiations to return for The Da Vinci Code prequel Angels & Demons.
Howard will be returning as director and Hanks as the lead-actor.
Sony declined comment.
The site goes on to say, through their sources, that the studio (Columbia Pictures) has set an early January start date for the film. The studio is also awaiting the finished screenplay from Akiva Goldsman
