MTV has renewed The Hills for a third season, along with the web-only series The Hills After-Show.
The series is currently the networks top-rated show. It’s averaging 2.7M viewers this year, with growth of 9% over its first year. ‘Hills’ has also done very well this year among the networks key demographic viewers 12-24, where it is up 15% over its last season (1.7M this year).
10 episodes are scheduled to begin this summer.
