ABC has decided to make a quick change in their lineup, opting to move premiere its new comedy Notes from the Underbelly to the plush post Grey’s Anatomy time slot.
The series was originally scheduled to air Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. That would have put the show up against an expanded results show of American Idol.
October Road is currently airing out of Grey’s Anatomy, but that series will only air four episodes this season, with the last scheduled for April 5. ‘Underbelly’ will then debut two half-hour episodes on April 12 from 10:00-11:00 p.m.
ABC also announced that the Wednesday at 9:00-10:00 p.m. time period will continue to be occupied by episodes of According to Jim and In Case of Emergency through the end of April, at which point the time slot will be filled with repeats of Lost.
